Book Management for a standard picture book is $1095. This includes: coordinating, managing, consulting, reviewing, troubleshooting, creating the back cover copy and front and back matter, and inputting the metadata to Amazon KDP.
An early reader book is $1395.
A simple chapter book up to 8000 words is $1595.
* The above prices DO NOT include, editing, illustrations, ISBNs, or formatting-design.
The formatting, design, and uploading for publication, or providing printer files for offline printer services is usually $400.
Possible extras:
-If a hardcover is involved, there will be an additional $100 to publish on IngramSpark.
-If a duplex cover is involved, there will be an additional $100 fee.
-If you'd like a dust jacket, there will be an additional $75 to $125 fee, this is in addition to the illustrator's cost to create it.
-You will need ISBNs for each book format (paperback, hardcover, ebook), I will discuss your options with you.
-If you'd like a QRCode, there is a $45 fee. It will be input on your back cover. You can also use it for other promotional material, like bookmarks.
INCIDENTALS
1. If your manuscript isn’t publishing-ready: (1) If it needs only minor edits, I will edit it for free. (2) If it needs substantial editing, I will discuss it with you. Writers on the Move Self-Publishing Service strives to publish professional books that adhere to standard industry guidelines for children's books. I’d be happy to offer my services at a discount.
2. If your project has more than 24 interior illustrations or there are unforeseen problems, there may be an additional fee. I haven't come across this, but you never know.
3. Once the book is published and any Writers on the Move Self-Publishing Service errors are found, they will be corrected free of charge for 30 days from the publication date.
3. I will help with issues that arise with Amazon or IngramSpark for 30 days from the publication date, free of charge. After that, if you need revisions or updates, IngramSpark or Amazon have updates that need attention, or any other problems arise with your book, there will be a fee if my help is needed.
